As I mentioned here, I'm working on an Assassin's Creed fan film with stuntman Matthew Lorenceau. Here's the first of the pieces.
I played with some different compositional ideas in this piece, and I was unsure of how the whole thing was going to turn out as I was working on it, but I'm pleased with the action. If there's one thing I would like to improve upon in 2012, it's my colour and my speed.
Again, this is supposed to be Spain, so while I tried to get that across with the costuming of the guards (showing them as it were in the three stages they might exist upon encountering our assassin: dead, dying, and about to die), I also threw in what architecture I could to portray the conflation of both Islam and Christianity, although I will perhaps be able to do that better in the following pieces, when we get a little closer to the buildings.
